Got me thinking though, seems like the music player could use the same ideas to allow for better sorting and searching for music instead of the folder system currently in use. I never used my ps3 to view photos until now since the new photo thing makes it easier to browse through them and find stuff. On a different note, the items in the update are a good addition. There are many such as myself rootin’ for yah…maybe just privately in most cases :) Was thi not what the 160GB was partially intended for anyway? :)Īgain, keep up the fantastic work fellas.
Just *something* to make life easier for the folks who are using the PS3 as their music hub. On a more complex level, perhaps an app for music comparable to the app you have created for photos. At the simplest level, just the feature of a “page up” using one of the left triggers and a “page down” using one of the right triggers would do a WORLD of good here. If you are like me and have imported thousands (13,655 to be exact) tunes, it is a *terror* to browse through the list of songs with the current configuration. I really commend you guys on some excellent firmware improvements, and while many may be asking for various features, I would like to ask if we can get back to basics and fix some of the Music menu functionality.
